Little Hooves Petting Zoo

We’re so excited to be part of your special day. The following terms help ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone, especially our animals and your guests. By making a booking with Little Hooves Petting Zoo, you agree to the terms below.

Booking & Payment

A 25% non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date and time. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due 5 business days prior to your event. If the balance is not paid by the due date, we may need to release the booking.

Cancellations & Changes

We understand that plans can change. If you cancel 7 or more days before your event, your deposit will be forfeited. If you cancel within 7 days of your event, the full booking fee may be charged, as animals, transport, and staffing will have already been arranged. Requests to change your event date or time are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Weather

As a mobile, outdoor experience, our visits are weather dependent. In the case of extreme weather such as severe heat, heavy rain, storms, or unsafe conditions, we will always aim to make reasonable adjustments or offer a rescheduled date where possible. If a reschedule is not possible, a refund will be provided. Light rain or overcast conditions generally do not qualify as extreme weather.

Our Animals

All animals at Little Hooves Petting Zoo are hand raised, well socialised, and accustomed to children. Animals may vary depending on the season, health, and welfare needs. If needed, animals may be substituted. We will always ensure the correct number of animals and a suitable variety for your chosen package. Animal welfare always comes first. While our animals are gentle, it is important to remember that all animals can behave unpredictably at times.

Safety & Supervision

For everyone’s safety, children must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times. Our team will guide guests on how to interact gently with the animals. Although rare, animals do have the potential to nip or bite. Little Hooves Petting Zoo cannot be held responsible for injuries resulting from lack of supervision or failure to follow instructions. We may pause interactions or remove animals if behaviour becomes unsafe.

Food & Hygiene

To keep our animals healthy, no outside food or drinks are allowed inside the animal pens. Feeding is only permitted using food provided by Little Hooves Petting Zoo and under staff supervision.

Group Numbers

To ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience, a maximum of 10 to 12 people may be inside the animal pens at one time. Guests are welcome to rotate through during the session.

Event Space & Access Requirements

To help us set up safely and comfortably, we require a safe, flat area suitable for animal pens. One parking space close to the event area is required for unloading animals and equipment. Access to water is required for the animals during the visit. Set up and pack down each take approximately 30 minutes.

Right to Refuse Service

Little Hooves Petting Zoo reserves the right to pause or end a session if safety instructions are not followed, animals or staff are treated unsafely, or the environment is not suitable for animals or guests. In these situations, refunds may not be provided.

Acceptance of Terms

Payment of your deposit or invoice confirms your acceptance of these booking terms and conditions.
